TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Temperatures stay near average on Sunday with scattered storm chances during the afternoon and evening.
Tonight Through Sunday Night
A stray shower is possible for Saturday evening, but most of us are dry and partly cloudy for the overnight. Lows settle in the mid-and-upper-60s.
Another typical summer day is on tap for the second half of the weekend. We are dry for the first half of Sunday under a mostly sunny sky. However, during the afternoon and early evening, we should see some of those scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly over the eastern half of the region.
Away from the showers, we stay warm. Highs climb into the upper-80s and low-90s.
We are not expecting severe weather, but a few storms could pack heavy rain, breezy winds and lightning.
The activity will fizzle after sunset, and we are mainly dry and mainly clear for Sunday night. Overnight lows fall into the mid-and-upper-60s.
Starting The Work Week
The rain chance is not as high to kick off the work week.
An isolated downpour is possible during the afternoon and evening on Monday and Tuesday, but most are looking warm and dry.
Highs climb into the upper-80s and low-90s under a mostly sunny sky.
Lows fall into the upper-60s.
Extended Forecast
Looking ahead, the weather pattern is looking summerlike.
Spotty showers and thunderstorms are possible during the peak heating of the day on Wednesday and Thursday.
Temperatures hover in the low-90s under a mix of Sun and clouds.
Lows settle in the upper-60s.
