A Jacksonville resident told police someone pointed a gun at them while driving by their house Sunday evening.
Officers responded about 6:21 p.m. Sunday to the 600 block of North Church Street after a caller reported someone drove past their house waving a gun out the window and pointed the firearm at them.
The car left the area. No shots were fired and no one was injured.
Police said the incident remains under investigation.
