A Jacksonville woman told police someone fired an Airsoft gun at her while she was on West Morton Avenue.
Airsoft guns sometimes look like firearms but are considered toys or replicas. They shoot lightweight, non-lethal plastic pellets.
The woman said a gray car drove past her about 9:16 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of West Morton Avenue and someone in the car displayed a gun, firing a shot at her. A police report did not say whether she was walking or driving at the time.
No injuries were reported. Police said the incident remains under investigation.
