Stuck in the 90s: Staying above average this week 🌤️

  • May 19, 2026

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The 90s stick around through midweek. Chief Meteorologist Mike McCall has more.

Tonight Through Tuesday Night

Another calm, mild night is on tap across the region. Overnight lows fall into the upper-60s and low-70s under a mostly clear sky.

Our “copy and paste” weather pattern will continue on Tuesday. We are dry for the first half of the day under some sunshine. However, we should see a few pop-up showers and storms during the afternoon and evening. Away from the showers, we stay warm. Highs climb into the upper-80s and low-90s.

More of the same is on the way for Tuesday night. Lows fall into the upper-60s and low-70s under a partly cloudy to mostly clear sky.

No Big Changes Through Friday

For the rest of the work week, the forecast is looking pretty stagnant.

Highs top out in the low-to-mid-90s in some spots for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday under a mix of Sun and clouds.

Each day, we should see a few of those random, pop-up showers and storms during the afternoon and evening. However, it will not rain for everyone.

Low temperatures settle in the upper-60s and low-70s.

Extended Forecast

Looking ahead to the holiday weekend, more of the same looks to be on the way.

Temperatures on Saturday and Sunday climb into the low-90s under a partly cloudy sky.

Again, some scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible during the peak heating of the day.

Lows bottom out in the low-70s.
