CLEARWATER, Fla. — Allegiant Travel Company says it’s expanding its network at St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport (PIE) with the addition of two new nonstop routes, further strengthening its presence in the Tampa Bay region.
The ultra-low-cost carrier announced the new service as part of its continued growth strategy in Florida leisure markets.
Beginning Oct. 2, 2026, Allegiant says it will launch nonstop service between PIE and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), with introductory one-way fares starting at $59. A second route to Columbia Regional Airport (COU) in Missouri will begin Nov. 19, 2026, with fares starting at $69. The airline is also offering limited-time incentives, including bonus Allways Rewards points, to promote the new routes.
Allegiant’s Chief Commercial Officer Drew Wells said the additions reflect the company’s goal of expanding affordable travel options where demand is growing. The airline specializes in connecting smaller cities to popular vacation destinations.
With these new routes, Allegiant now offers more than 60 nonstop destinations from PIE, cementing its role as the airport’s dominant carrier and a key driver of tourism to Pinellas County.
