Halloween night in Southwest Florida is looking to be a busy day with costume contests, live music, free candy, and more.

Downtown Fort Myers is preparing for a bar crawl on Halloween night. Participating bars will not have covers.
“Round up your boo crew, show off your costumes, and prepare for a night of creepy cocktails, chills, and unforgettable bar-hopping fun,” the city of Fort Myers said in a statement.
The event will have exclusive drink and food specials, Halloween-themed entertainment and more. All attendees must be 21+ with a valid government-issued ID.

Nevermind Awesome Bar and Eatery in downtown Cape Coral is hosting a Halloween costume party. There will be a prize costume contest for the “Sexiest, scariest, and best overall” costume. The event will include a Guest DJ, karaoke, spooky shot specials, and drink specials.

The bar, which is also a music venue, restaurant and pinball arcade, is hosting its annual Sonic Masquerade concert, a staple show for the local scene for many years. The concert, hosted by Love Your Rebellion, features local bands “masquerading” as famous acts. This year’s lineup includes tributes to Metallica, Weezer, Rage Against the Machine, Hole, Pat Benatar and Bloodhound Gang.
There will also be an annual Halloween fundraiser and a costume contest with prizes. The event is 21+, and tickets are $12 at the door.

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is hosting its annual Halloween trick-or-treat event, Cops and Goblins, at the Port Charlotte Town Center Mall. The free event is for families to bring their kids. This year’s event will feature the return of the donut-eating contest, pie-a-deputy, and “our spooktacular touch-and-feel station.”
Making a return of the Boo Bash Maze and the Pumpkin Bounce House. The event is hosted both indoors and outdoors, so there will surely be lots of spooktacular things to see and do.

Each year, we aim to provide a safe and family-friendly trick-or-treating experience for the children and families of Charlotte County. FREE to the public, Cops and Goblins 2025 will have the return of classics such as donut eating contests, pie a deputy, and our spooktacular touch and feel station! Plus, we are excited to announce the return of last year’s new additions, the Boo Bash Maze, and the Pumpkin Bounce House!
