FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — Voters in Fort Pierce could see a change in their polling locations in the next election.

The St. Lucie County Commissioners approved new voting precincts in the Lakewood Park on Tuesday.

The Supervisor of Elections Office suggested creating a new precinct to alleviate crowding and provide voters with additional options for casting their ballots.

Voters will be divided between two locations: Lakewood Park Village Hall, located off Jennings Way, and Lakewood Park Church, situated off Turnpike Feeder Road.
