Crash on the Pinellas side of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge causing traffic delays

One lane is blocked, and traffic cameras show backup all the way to the Manatee side of the bridge.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A wreck on the Pinellas County side of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge is causing major traffic delays Wednesday morning. 

Traffic cameras show a wreck blocking one lane on the northbound side of the bridge near mile marker 15.

Drivers are urged to take US-301 and I-75 in Manatee County to avoid the bridge.
