Miami illuminated the world’s tallest digital Cuban flag on Wednesday, May 20, to mark Cuban Independence Day.
The display followed the indictment of former Cuban leader Raul Castro and renewed calls for US action against the island’s regime.
Footage by World Satellite Television News showed the 700-foot-tall Paramount Miami Worldcenter in downtown Miami transformed into a massive Cuban flag, while the words ‘Freedom’ and ‘Libertad’ glowed down its center column.
