Universal Studios is adding a new haunted house based on “Sinners” to this year’s Halloween Horror Nights, bringing the Oscar‑winning film to its parks for the first time.
The maze opens Sept. 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood as part of Halloween Horror Nights, which is expanding to 42 nights. The experience will also be available at Universal Studios Orlando, which starts its haunt season on Aug. 28.

Released in 2025, “Sinners” became the highest‑grossing original horror film in history and earned 16 Academy Award nominations. The movie follows twin brothers Smoke and Stack as they open a juke joint in their hometown, only to have the celebration violently interrupted by a group of vampires.
Guests visiting the experience will step inside Club Juke and encounter characters pulled directly from the film, including the red‑eyed vampires Remmick, Bert and Joan, as well as Sammie, Mary, Annie, Pearline and Cornbread.
The haunted house places visitors in the middle of the twins’ conflict with the bloodthirsty intruders as they attempt to survive until sunrise.
“Sinners” will join a slate of eight haunted houses, the Terror Tram, multiple scare zones and other offerings at this year’s event.
Universal Studios Hollywood is selling a range of ticket options, including General Admission, Early Access, Frequent Fear and Ultimate Fear passes.
Select ticket types also include nighttime access to the new “Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift” coaster.
