Jacksonville Breaking and Entering Suspect Identified
JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — On May 22nd the Jacksonville Police Department announced that a suspect had been identified for the multiple breaking and entering incidents that have recently occurred in the area.
The incidents had occurred specifically in the area of Country Club Road and surrounding businesses. An investigation conducted by the Jacksonville Police Department’s General Investigations Unit, helped by members of the community, positively identified 43-year-old David Allen Brinson of Jacksonville as the suspect. He was then found at a local hotel and arrested without incident.
Brinson is being held at Onslow County Jail with no bond and was charged with:
Felony Breaking and Entering (seven counts)
Misdemeanor Injury to Real Property (five counts)
Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering (five counts)
Felony Larceny (two counts)
Felony Possession of Stolen Goods/Property (two counts)
Felony Possession of Burglary Tools (two counts)
The Jacksonville Police Department also thanked those who provided leads and helped identify Brinson.
