Shooting investigation underway in St. Pete

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — Officers are at the scene of a shooting that left one person injured in St. Petersburg Friday evening.

The shooting occurred just after 6:30 p.m. in the 4200 block of 15th Avenue South.

According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, one victim was taken to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital.

Their condition is unknown.

Detectives are investigating but no additional information is available at this time.
