ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando City goalkeeper Pedro Gallese is leaving the club at the end of his contract, the club announced Friday.

Gallese has been with the club for six seasons and played in 201 matches for the Lions. He has set club records with 18,888 minutes played, 568 saves, 89 wins and 57 clean sheets.
This season, he started 40 matches for the Lions across all competitions, recording 3,600 minutes played, 124 saves and 15 victories — including the Lions’ Leagues Cup 2025 Quarterfinal victory over Liga MX’s reigning Campeón de Campeones, Deportivo Toluca.
During his tenure, the 35-year-old has helped the club secure its first trophy of the Major League Soccer era, the 2022 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and six consecutive appearances in the MLS Cup playoffs — including the 2024 Eastern Conference Final. The Lions also made the MLS Cup is Back Tournament Final and two CONCACAF Championships Cup appearances while the Peruvian international has been with the club.
Gallese was one of two Lions to represent Orlando in Los Angeles at the 2021 MLS All-Star Game, joining former captain Nani.
