ST. LUCIE COUNTY – Two suspects were arrested by St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Oct. 30 on charges of stealing about $10,000 from The Porch Factory.

Ernesto Artiles Tosco, 54, of Fort Pierce, is charged with grand theft of $5,000 to $10,000. He is in the St. Lucie County Jail on a $7,500 bond.

Maykel Garcia Izada, 46, of Port St. Lucie, was charged with grand theft of under $5,000. He is in the St. Lucie County Jail on a $5,000 bond, according to jail records.

The investigation began on Oct. 30, when Patrol Operations Deputy Matt Gerdes responded to a report of stolen materials valued at approximately $10,000 from The Porch Factory, according to sheriff’s office reports.

During the investigation, detectives located and recovered a portion of the stolen materials at a suspect’s residence, which have since been returned to the victim, according to sheriff’s office reports.

The investigation is continuing.
