TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The dog days of summer are just around the corner and now you can grab lunch while helping local shelter animals.
First Commerce Credit Union is officially firing up the grill for its annual “Dogs for Dogs” cookouts.
A $5 donation gets you a hot dog, chips and a drink. All of the proceeds go directly to regional humane societies to fund pet adoptions and medical care.
You can also meet pets looking for their forever family.
The cookouts are running at select First Commerce Credit Union branches throughout the month.
The next is cookout is Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Blairstone Financial Center.
Another will be hosted on Thursday at the Summit East Financial Center and Friday at the Westside Financial Center.
