FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — The Fort Pierce Police Department has identified the shooter who shot a man and left him on a sidewalk on Sunday.
Police identified the shooter as 18-year-old Elijah Robinson and arrested him on Tuesday without incident. Robinson is being held at the St. Lucie County Jail on a charge of attempted first-degree murder.

On Sunday at about 9:45 p.m., officers with FPPD heard gunshots coming from North 23rd Street and Avenue E. Upon law enforcement arrival, they found a man lying on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition.
At this time, the investigation remains active, and a motive has not yet been determined. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department at 772-462-6800.
