TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Another chilly night is ahead for the Big Bend and South Georgia as temperatures tumble into the upper-30s.
Tonight Through Saturday Night
High pressure will dominate the forecast in the short term. As a result, we stay dry and clear.
Because of the clear sky and calm wind, overnight lows are going to be chilly. We bottom out in the upper-30s by Saturday morning.
Another dry, sunny day is ahead to start the weekend. After cool weather in the morning, we are expecting a nice rebound for the afternoon. Temperatures reach the low-70s.
We are quiet and cool for Saturday night. Low temperatures dip into the mid-40s under a mostly clear sky.
Tracking Weak Weather System
A weak weather system looks to sweep across the area on Sunday, and this could spark a few showers.
Most of Sunday is looking dry and comfortable. Clouds are expected to increase. Highs top out in the upper-60s and low-70s. For Sunday night, a few showers could be possible, but the rain coverage is not impressive. Overnight lows dip into the upper-40s.
A stray shower could linger into Monday morning, but most of us are looking dry and breezy. Highs hover in the upper-60s and low-70s under plenty of sunshine. Overnight lows bottom out in the mid-40s.
Extended Forecast
High pressure takes over for the middle of the work week. As a result, we are tracking more dry conditions and more sunshine.
Temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday are looking comfortable. We top out in the mid-70s under plenty of sunshine.
Overnight lows settle in the mid-and-upper-40s for the middle of the week.
