• People took items overnight Monday from a business in the 200 block of East Morton Avenue that forgot to lock the door, according to a report filed at 10:11 a.m. Wednesday.

• Children threw rocks at the window of a residence in the 500 block of South East Street and then ran away, according to a report filed at 6:04 p.m. Wednesday.

• The door to a patio in the 400 block of Reid Street was damaged, according to a report filed at 12:13 p.m. Wednesday.

• Officers from Jacksonville and other law enforcement agencies used a drone and police canines to search for a motorcyclist who crashed about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday near Illinois Route 267 and Interstate 72. The person was not located and is believed to have left the area after crashing, according to a police report.
