A motorcycle rider was airlifted to the hospital after a crash in Hialeah Thursday morning, officials said.
The crash happened at the intersection of East 2nd Avenue and 22nd Street and involved a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle, Hialeah Fire Department officials said.
When first responders arrived they found the motorcyclist, a 40-year-old man, suffering from severe injuries, officials said.
He was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center as a trauma alert.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation.
