The ceremony will happen at Z.L. Riley Park, where one repair station will be unveiled, at 745 S. Parramore Ave. The Callahan Neighborhood Center and the John H. Jackson Neighborhood Center will also feature new stations, according to the press release.
Equipped with screwdrivers, tire pumps and wrenches, the repair stations will be free to use during normal park and center hours, the release also said.
“In partnership with Families, Parks and Recreation and the Downtown Community Redevelopment Agency, the bike repair stations are part of Main Street’s ongoing commitment to making Parramore more mobility-friendly,” Kenneth Hughes, Parramore Main Street’s director, said in the press release.
