JACKSONVILLE, Ark. – Court records show a second arrest has been made in the deadly May shooting of a Jacksonville 6-year-old.
21-year-old Treyveon Stubblefield
According to court documents, police arrested 21-year-old Treyveon Stubblefield for capital murder and terrorist threatening on Tuesday. Authorities with the Jacksonville Police Department confirmed the arrest was in connection to the death of A’Mir Houston.

According to police, Houston was found “suffering from multiple gunshot wounds” in a vehicle at the 4000 block of South Highway 161 on May 17. Police said he died after being taken to a local hospital.

Police named 21-year-old Artavius Dontal Johnson as the initial suspect in the shooting. Johnson was arrested on Wednesday.

Stubblefield was arraigned on Wednesday and entered a not-guilty plea to all charges. Johnson has not yet entered a plea and his first court appearance will be Friday.
Both Stubblefield and Johnson are currently held in the Pulaski County Regional Detention Center without a bond.
JPD officers say the investigation is still on-going.
