Cape Coral High School Class of 2026 graduated May 30 at Alico Arena at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers.
The approximately 490 graduating seniors were among thousands of Lee County School District students graduating this year. The Cape High seniors were dressed in the school’s colors: Blue caps and gowns paired with orange sashes.
The school was founded in 1979 as Cape Coral’s first high school.
The International Baccalaureate program is offered at Cape High, the only high school in the west zone to do so.
The school’s mascot is Breezy the Seahawk, and the school colors are blue and orange.
During the May 30 ceremony, Principal Ryan Jackson offered these words to remember for his graduating seniors: “Remember, once a Seahawk, always a Seahawk.” The seniors responded with loud cheers.
Cape High is off Santa Barbara Boulevard in Cape Coral.
Reyna Cristina Rivero Castillo strikes a celebratory pose with her new diploma after graduating from Cape Coral High School. The ceremony was held Saturday, May 30 at FGCU’s Alico Arena. Castillo also helped sing the National Anthem during the ceremony.
