• A 42-year-old Monmouth man was booked into the Morgan County jail at 5:57 p.m. Sunday on charges of delivery of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and obstructing justice.

• A 67-year-old Meredosia man was booked into the Morgan County jail at 11:30 p.m. Saturday on a warrant accusing him of failing to appear in court on charges of driving under the influence, driving while license is revoked, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle,

• A 33-year-old Jacksonville man was booked into the Morgan County jail at 3:10 a.m. Saturday on charges of driving under the influence, driving while license is suspended, improper possession or transportation of liquor, improper lane use, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

•  A 25-year-old Waverly man was booked into the Morgan County jail at 8:04 a.m. Friday on a domestic battery charge.

• Beer cans were stolen from Mahan’s Wildside at 501 W. Old U.S. 36 in Alexander, according to a report filed at 9:56 a.m. Sunday.

• Deputies were called at 1:05 p.m. Saturday to a disturbance in the 300 block of West Temple Street in Waverly. A man reported his girlfriend slapped him. The two were separated.

• A 65-year-old Jacksonville man was arrested at 2:07 a.m. Monday at Grove and South Diamond streets on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and cited on charges of operating an uninsured vehicle and disobeying a stop sign.

• A 29-year-old Jacksonville man was arrested at 8:36 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Park Street on a charge of driving while license suspended and cited on a charge of improper turn signal use.

• A 52-year-old Jacksonville man was arrested at 10:58 a.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of Allen Avenue on a domestic battery charge. He was accused of punching his roommate three times in the leg because the roommate wouldn’t give him a cigarette.

• A 48-year-old Jacksonville woman was arrested at 10:37 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of South West Street on a criminal trespassing charge.

• Police were called at 8:15 p.m. Sunday to a disturbance in the 1100 block of East Morton Avenue. Those involved were separated.

• Police were called at 12:11 p.m. Sunday to a disturbance in the 300 block of Clay Court. Those involved were separated.

• Someone tried to use counterfeit money at JB Hawks, 205 E. Morton Ave., according to a report filed at 10:56 p.m. Sunday. An officer took possession of the money, according to a police report. 

• An aggressive dog in the 700 block of West Douglas Avenue was caught by police and animal control officers, according to a report filed at 7:54 p.m. Sunday. Animal control officials are investigating, according to a police report.

• A 59-year-old Springfield woman was booked into the Morgan County jail at 12:04 a.m. Sunday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
