Rams Trade For Myles Garrett

New Bucs edge rusher Al-Quadin Muhammad.

The Buccaneers’ home opener against the Browns just got a little easier — and their road to the NFC Championship game probably got a shade tougher.

This afternoon, the Rams made a heck of an all-in move trading with the Browns for beastly future Hall of Fame edge rusher Myles Garrett.

Per various sources, including SiriusXM NFL Radio, Los Angeles is reported to have coughed up Pro Bowl edge rusher Jared Verse (the 2024 Defensive Rookie of the Year) and a 2027 first-round pick, in addition to compensation currently being negotiated.

Garrett will now team up with the Rams’ remaining Pro Bowl edge rusher, Byron Young.

Joe heard of this deal and thought, ‘No wonder the Rams didn’t draft Rueben Bain,’ as McVay explained. Joe also wondered considered making a move for Garrett.

The Rams are determined to get to the Super Bowl this season, which could be the last for quarterback Matthew Stafford. Suddenly, Joe doesn’t feel greedy asking for Von Miller over Chris Braswell.
