JACKSONVILLE, Onslow County — United Way of Onslow County and Sandy Run Missionary Baptist Church are teaming up again to provide free meals for children and teens this summer.

The program is open to children and teens ages 18 and under.

Meals will be available Monday through Friday from June 15 through August 21.

The program will be closed on June 19 and July 3.

Meals will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sandy Run Missionary Baptist Church’s Fellowship Hall, located at 1503 Hargett Street in Jacksonville.

Organizers say all meals must be eaten on-site.

The effort is aimed at helping local youth stay healthy and fed during the summer months.
