Starting Aug. 4, 2026, it will cost you more to park your car at TPA while you’re traveling.
TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa International Airport (TPA) will be raising parking rates at all three of its garages later this summer.
On Thursday, the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority Board approved a parking rate hike set to go into effect on Aug. 4, 2026.
Daily rates at all three TPA garages will increase by $4 per day. That means the Short-Term Garage will cost $32 per day, the Long-Term Garage will cost $26 per day, and the Economy Garage will cost $22 per day.

TPA will also be simplifying how hourly rates are calculated at its garages. Starting Aug. 4, the first hour of parking is free for all garages, including Economy, which currently only offers the first 15 minutes free.
“Tampa International Airport is the 27th-largest airport in the United States by passenger volume but has some of the lowest parking rates among the nation’s top 30 airports,” the airport wrote. “This is while offering a higher quality of services and facilities than those airports…”
The last time a TPA parking rate hike was approved was in February 2023.
