‘Coming Out Of The Shadows’
This photo exhibit, subtitled “Living Gay In Fort Lauderdale during the 1960s,” is presented by History Fort Lauderdale, which debuted the gallery show during its annual Take PRIDE reception at The Galleria mall on May 28. The images of pre-Stonewall Fort Lauderdale are presented in collaboration with Florida International University and the Stonewall National Museum, Archives & Library.

This slate of events will encompass live performances, nightlife, wellness activations, leadership conversations and cultural programming. These include a Back To BlaQ Showcase Ball, a “Welcome to the South” Block Party and Festival, a “Black II Broadway” musical experience (honoring Jennifer Holliday), and a Sun-Kissed Rooftop Pool Party.

Marysol Patton, a la “The Real Housewives of Miami,” will be the grand marshall for the seventh annual FLoatarama Flotilla along Fort Lauderdale’s Intracoastal Waterways. If you don’t want to enter your own boat, then you can party on the Sun Dream Yacht Catalina for a brunch cruise featuring a live DJ, premium open bar and entertainment, followed by a waterfront T-Dance celebration.

Wilton Manors Stonewall Pride
This huge celebration fills up six blocks of Wilton Drive with entertainment, seven stages, food, drinks and vendor shopping. A literal highlight of the event is the Glow Night Parade at 8 p.m., which will include illuminated floats, vehicles and colorful pedestrians.

• Wilton Drive in downtown Wilton Manors, from Northeast 20th Street to 26th Street (at Five Points)
• On Wilton Drive, gate entrances are near Tropics Grille to the south and Rosie’s Bar & Grill to the northeast.

Palm Beach County
‘Lost and Found: LGBTQIA+ Identity and Space in South Florida’
As the title spells out, this exhibition presented by the Historical Society of Palm Beach County shows how LGBTQIA+ identity has been represented in public life as well as the queer communities and groups that were — and are — safe spaces (such as The Bunker Artspace, Compass Community Center, Gay Polo League, Lake Worth Playhouse, Transpire Help, H.G. Roosters and more).

Stonewall Ball 2026
This time around, the annual event will evoke a speakeasy-style evening with a Lavender Lounge, so guests are encouraged to dress up in 1920s-inspired fashion. The fundraiser for the Compass Community Center, which serves Palm Beach County, will include dancing, live entertainment, immersive speakeasy-style performances, a silent auction, VIP Awards, cocktail reception, light bites and more. This event is for adults age 21 and older.
