GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – It’s another day, another commitment for Florida football head coach Jon Sumrall.
Linebacker Ellis McGaskin, a Mobile, Alabama native, became the fifth player to commit to Florida’s 2027 class this week.
McGaskin is 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, and on Saturday he chose the Gators over LSU, Florida State and Georgia. He was in Gainesville for an official visit May 28-30, and the trip played a big role in his decision.
