Families, youth, and community members gathered at the St. Pete Pier today, June 7, for St. Pete Pride’s annual Youth & Family Day. The event was family-friendly celebration of Pride Month filled with entertainment, activities, and community connection.
Hosted by WMNF’s Big Gay Radio Show featured host Vyn Suazion, the event featured performances and appearances throughout the day from DJ Emmpowerr, the Distinguished Daredevils, and performances from St. Pete Pride titleholders Ashton Opulence, Kenzi D. Lavish, and Imani L. Valentino. Additional performances included a Baby Rave with Teegan Harley, Anarkitty and Girls Rock St. Pete, among others. Drag Queen Story Time, hosted by this year’s Miss St. Pete Pride 2026, Imani L. Valentino, ended with Valentino giving free copies of the book The ABC’s of Rave to children in the audience.
With families enjoying the waterfront atmosphere and a full lineup of entertainment, Youth & Family Day once again provided a welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ youth, their families, and allies to celebrate Pride together in downtown St. Petersburg.
