JACKSONVILLE, Onslow County — A victim was found inside a home after an early morning fire in Jacksonville.
Officials confirmed the call came in at 4:36 a.m. in the McGinity Court area off Lake Cole Road.

When the fire department arrived, crews found a working fire and began attacking the flames. As conditions allowed, firefighters conducted a primary search of the home and found a victim inside.
No additional details about the victim or the cause of the fire have been released.
