ORLANDO, Fla. – Did you feel it? FOX 35 Orlando has received several calls, emails, and messages from people reportedly feeling shaking or tremors throughout Central Florida, potentially due to a large earthquake in Cuba.
USGS: 6.1-magnitude earthquake in Cuba
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), a 6.1-magnitude earthquake was reported Monday afternoon near Mantua, Cuba. The NWS Jacksonville said in a post on X that there is no tsunami threat, but that it has received reports of shaking/tremors as far north as Jacksonville.
