PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (KLTV) — Former Tyler Grace Crusader Gabe Craig picked up his fourth save of the season in Clearwater’s 11-8 win over Port St. Lucie on Sunday.
The 24-year-old right-hander entered the game in the ninth inning and gave up a walk, followed by a flyout and a single, before walking to load the bases. Craig then struck out two batters to end the game.
Through 21 innings this season, Craig (2-0) has 32 strikeouts and a 3.86 ERA.
Clearwater (36-21) is in first place in the FSL West. The Threshers start a series Tuesday against Lakeland at 5:30 p.m.
