GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – A 6.1 magnitude earthquake centered in Cuba caused tremors and shakes that were felt across multiple counties in North Central Florida on Monday.
USGS reports the epicenter of the earthquake was 104 kilometers WNW of Mantua, Cuba.
Calls to TV20 reported some feeling the tremors for at least 30 seconds.
