PORT ST. LUCIE – A Fort Pierce man was arrested on June 8 for allegedly burglarizing a vacant in the Spanish Lakes community in Port St. Lucie, according to a St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office Facebook posting.
Vincent Cutrone, 46, of Fort Pierce was arrested after patrol deputies spotted a suspicious vehicle stopped in the roadway in the community at about 1:43 a.m., June 8, according to the Facebook posting.
While speaking to Cutrone, deputies saw a large television set in the back seat, according to the Facebook posting.
Investigators discovered that a burglary occurred at a home near where Cutrone’s car was spotted, according to the Facebook posting.
Cutrone was transported to the sheriff’s office’s Criminal Investigations Division for further investigation. Following the investigation, CID Det. Cpl. Laine Drawdy established probable cause to charge Cutrone with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling.
Detectives have linked Cutrone to multiple burglaries throughout the area, and the investigation remains ongoing, according to the Facebook posting.
Cutrone was in the St. Lucie County Jail as of June 9 on a $25,000 bond, according to a jail spokesperson.
