DULUTH — Sun Country Airlines is set to restore its nonstop service from Duluth International Airport to Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers, Florida, starting Jan. 29, 2027.
The direct flights will be available twice per week through April 12. The schedule primarily features Monday and Friday departures, with select weeks offering service on Thursdays and Sundays.
“We are excited to welcome Sun Country back to Duluth. The Fort Myers route has been a favorite for our travelers, and its return is great for our community,” Duluth Airport Authority Executive Director Tom Werner stated in a news release. “To ensure this service returns year after year, it is crucial that the community demonstrates strong demand by choosing to fly local.”
The continuation of this seasonal route directly responds to significant community demand for leisure travel destinations.
