JACKSONVILLE, Onslow County — Cleanup is moving forward at American Legion Burton-Cowell Post 265 after severe weather caused the post’s building to collapse earlier this year.

Crews have been working at the Broadhurst Road property, clearing piles of debris, twisted metal, insulation and broken concrete blocks from the site. Photos from the property show heavy equipment being used as the damaged structure is taken down and debris is moved into piles for removal.
