JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – A Jacksonville man was arrested this morning after warrants say he was jumping out at residents while armed with weapons.
Jacksonville police arrested 34-year-old Phoenix Pena-Kamp early this morning.
Warrants say Pena-Kamp was hiding in bushes and jumping out at passersby while armed with a sword and spear.
The documents say he was also seen running through multiple yards on Barden Street with the weapons.
Pena-Kamp was charged with resisting a public officer, going armed to the terror of the people, and first-degree trespass enter/remain.
He was taken to the Onslow County Jail and charged with a total bond of $1,500.
