TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – In the land of garnet and gold, thousands are celebrating Florida State’s homecoming.
Festivities kicked off last weekend and Saturday as countless fans, students and families filled college town to cheer on their Noles in their game against Wake Forest.
One student told WCTV that she enjoyed her very first homecoming week, meeting new people and celebrating FSU.
“This is my first like college experience, I’m really excited, I think it’s gonna be super fun,” she said. “I’ve met a lot of people already, I’m excited to make more friends today.”

Another freshman said whether FSU wins or loses, it’s all about coming together and having a good time.
“I really admire how like there’s so much school spirit no matter how we do on the football games,” she said. “You can tell people just really love being here.”
The Noles took home the win 42-7.
