TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Purple Playas Foundation provides financial assistance and social-emotional support to families of children with chronic illnesses.

The organization partners with hospitals, clinics, and community agencies to deliver critical resources, including funding for specialized camps, food and gas assistance for treatment travel, hospital gaming systems, and durable medical equipment not covered elsewhere. The organization also host family-focused events that foster connection and support.

Purple Playas invests in the future of pediatric care by supporting fellowships and scholarships in high-need specialties facing critical shortages, beginning with pediatric rheumatology.
