{p}It’s official. Residents in Tradition can now carry firearms in common areas after an HOA policy was challenged by Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier. In a June 10 letter posted on the attorney general’s X account, the Tradition Community Association said, “Following the receipt of your correspondence, the association’s board of directors further reviewed the matter and has voted to rescind the rule regarding carry of weapons in common areas. Two twin girls who were vacationing in Florida are dead after an apparent drowning left them unconscious in a pool Friday. Information obtained by WESH indicates the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said the family was vacationing from the Atlanta area and staying at a short-term rental home in Kissimmee when the two 5-year-old girls were found in the pool.
