Local artists created instant works of art to auction at Jamboree at The James, an annual benefit for The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art. For this year’s theme — a Route 66 road trip — Azura, Jay Coachman, Selena Ferrer, Drew Haynes, Tracey “Artist” Jones, Brian Kostar, Cristi López, Zulu Painter and Myiah Pink painted their visions of the iconic highway, which stretches over 2,400 miles from Chicago to Santa Monica, California. The 175 guests explored the galleries and danced to music by The Danny Bub Combo on April 11 as event co-chairs Mary James and Carol Fisher drove support for the museum’s accessibility programs.
