PALM COAST, Fla. (WFLA) — A man was arrested in Palm Coast on June 10 for lewd and lascivious battery involving two teenage girls, according to detectives.
Detectives said they arrested Nicholas Dean Alo, 24, in connection with a case “where he had sex with two underage teen girls.”

Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood said Alo drove the two victims, ages 13 and 15, to purchase alcohol for them before he “convinced them to have sex” in his vehicle on June 6.
Alo parked his car at Central Park in Ormond Beach during the incident, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.

One of the victims said she met Alo at a spot known as the “White Fence” in Daytona Beach, which Chitwood said is a “hangout spot” for teenagers.
The victim said she kept in touch with Alo through social media.
Detectives learned that Alo drove around the east side of the county, frequenting skate parks, a boardwalk and other public parks to talk to teenage girls, VSO said.

Chitwood said Alo was arrested by the Ormond Beach Department in 2020 and convicted of lewd and lascivious molestation and traveling to seduce a minor for an incident involving a 12-year-old girl. He spent two years in prison.
He is being held at the Volusia County Branch Jail on two counts of lewd and lascivious battery, two counts of child abuse and violation of probation, VSO said. Chitwood said Alo may also face additional charges after he tried to run from detectives.
Detectives are seeking any potential victims who have been involved with Alo. VSO encouraged those with information about other potential cases to call 386-323-3574.
“I would encourage young ladies,” Chitwood said. “You did nothing wrong here, you know. If you were a victim of this guy, you need to go to your parents to tell your parents. Have your parents come to us. You are not in any kind of trouble.”
