Grab your bald caps and those jerseys because Miami is celebrating the arrival of summer’s biggest tournament the best way it knows how: with an epic, free party featuring Mr. Worldwide!

Pitbull is returning to the city for a surprise opening-day performance at the official FIFA Fan Festival at Bayfront Park. In celebration of the World Cup, he’ll take to the 10,000-capacity amphitheater stage at 8 p.m. tonight — a time slot teased on the schedule as a “special guest performance presented by DoorDash.”

The food delivery giant confirmed the hometown star’s appearance on Instagram with a video of a soccer ball sporting a bald cap and signature sunglasses throughout he city, all while Lil Jon and Pitbull’s “Damn I Love Miami” plays in the background:

Over the last couple of months, city officials and the FIFA World Cup 2026 Miami Host Committee have worked to transform the downtown Miami waterfront into a 23-day hub of fútbol festivities for fans. Right before Mr. 305 graces the stage tonight, the Fan Festival promises a full day of action with live screenings of the matches, diverse food vendors, interactive activities and plenty of live entertainment. Admission is entirely free and open to the public, with organizers expecting crowds of up to 30,000 people per day.
