1. Double shot of blues at American Legion
Mac Daddy Blues Productions presents Derrick Dove and the Peacekeepers at the American Legion on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
Mac Daddy Blues Productions presents an all-International Blues Challenge weekend of live blues music with Big Mike and the R&B Kings on Friday, June 12, and with Derrick Dove and the Peacekeepers on Saturday, June 13.
Both shows are at 8 p.m. at the American Legion Post 13, 229 Lake Ella Drive, in Tallahassee. The International Blues Challenge (IBC) is a national Blues music competition held in January each year in Memphis. The 2026 winner of the IBC’s was Derrick Dove and the Peacekeepers, with Derrick Dove winning the best guitar player award. The third-place finisher was New Orleans band Big Mike and the R&B Kings.
Tickets are available at macdaddyblues.com and are $20 advance and $25 day of show. A special 2-night ticket is available at $35. Food available on site.

4. Capital Chordsmen go back to the ’60s for 60th

The Capital Chordsmen 60th Anniversary Show celebrates with a Back to the ’60s themed concert with two shows at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, June 13, at Turner Auditorium, 444 Appleyard Drive, Tallahassee State College.
The Chordsmen’s 2026 annual show will be a family-friendly evening of live barbershop harmony and classic ’60s hits as the group celebrates its 60th Anniversary. The musical journey goes back to the days of cars, teen angels, and surfin’ with great music performed by the chorus and quartets. Also featuring special guest quartet: Right On Q!
