The Pirates won on Saturday in a tough way, beating the Marlins. With the bases loaded with Spencer Horwitz at the plate, Anthony Bender hit him with a pitch to bring home the go-ahead run that turned out to be the game-winning run. The Pirates took the lead twice, first in the opening inning and then again in the third. Miami kept coming back, though, and tied it in the third and sixth innings.
