Precautionary Boil Water Notice lifted for Gadsden regional water system users

GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) – The Precautionary Boil Water Notice for Gadsden regional water system users has been lifted by Talquin Electric, per a press release.

Talquin listed Cooks Landing, Talquin Oaks, Southern Country Lane, Alma Yates Street, Davidson Road, Talquin Avenue, Loop Drive, Chinquapin Way, Louis Lane, Saint Andrews Street, Striper Way and Cold Springs Lane as the affected areas.

More news out of the Big Bend:

The electric company said that a bacteriological survey was conducted and showed that the water is safe to drink, as there was no contamination.

The notice was issued due to a water main break near Pat Thomas and Cooks Landing Road, per a statement from Talquin.
