TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee man charged with an April kidnapping and attempted sexual assault is now facing additional charges stemming from a 2021 incident, according to court documents.
Erick Sanudo was arrested in April after allegedly attacking a 14-year-old girl on her way home from school. Arrest documents show he allegedly grabbed her from behind, pulled her pants down and attempted to sexually assault her.

Now, Sanudo is charged with lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim under the age of 12, according to arrest papers.
The new charge stems from an incident in 2021 that was discovered during a review of Sanudo’s criminal history. The case alleged Sanudo had sexually molested a separate child.
According to arrest documents, the child was complaining of pain and was taken to a pediatrician. The doctor asked if she had been touched inappropriately and she said Sanudo had “put his fingers in her private area.”

An interview with the victim was conducted in May 2021 and revisited after Saundo’s April arrest. In the interview, the victim told law enforcement that Sanudo had touched her while they were watching TV together. She claimed that Sanudo then told her if she performed oral sex on him, he would give her a phone, according to arrest documents.
Law enforcement interviewed Sanudo again after his initial arrest where he denied knowing the victim before requesting an attorney and stopping the interview.
Sanudo was denied bond on the initial kidnapping and attempted sexual assault charges and is being held in the Leon County Jail.
