Books unlock imagination, build empathy and create lifelong advantages.
New Worlds Reading is Florida’s free at-home literacy program that helps eligible VPK-5th grade students strengthen literacy skills and spark a lifelong love of reading.
Shelli Payne joined our Ava Van Valen in the studio on Friday to discuss the program and how you can take part.
If eligible, students can get 9 books from the 2025-26 school year and 11 more free books.
The deadline to apply is July 12.
