TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – It was a double dose of celebration Monday at the WCTV studios, as the Thomasville girls and boys soccer teams visited the WCTV studio on Tuesday as part of WCTV’s Champ Chat series.
Thomasville swept the 1A Division I state soccer titles this year, with the Lady Bulldogs topping Model 1-0 in overtime, while the boys beat Armuchee 1-0.
The state championship was the first for the girls program, who finished the year a perfect 23-0, while it’s the third state title for the boys, and their first since 2019.
