A judge sentenced Orlando to 10 years in prison, and he will not be eligible for parole. After his release, Orlando must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. The offense is classified as violent and most serious under South Carolina law.
Orlando sexually assaulted the 12-year-old victim on June 7, 2024. The child told a friend what happened and was taken to the hospital.
Prosecutors said Orlando’s DNA connected him to the crime.
